Senior Journalist, Auckland
Te Tūranga –The opportunity
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Journalist to join our Auckland newsroom — someone who knows how to write compelling stories for our radio, digital, and social platforms and who is enthusiastic about breaking news.
Te Mahi – About the job
This is a chance to make a real impact in the Auckland region, covering the stories that matter most to New Zealanders. You’ll be confident chasing leads, have a strong and up to date list of local contacts, and have proven experience delivering high quality journalism across multiple platforms.
Ōu Pūkenga - About You
- Have superior writing, interviewing and live broadcasting skills
- Be a skilled digital reporter
- Have experience working as a journalist at a senior level
- Bring accuracy, attention to detail, curiosity and creativity to your work
- File written, audio and visual content to tight radio and digital deadlines
- Understand the issues affecting Auckland
- Be flexible and able to commit to shift work
