Te Mahi – About the job
RNZ is seeking an experienced editorial leader to manage RNZ National programming on weekends and public holidays. You will have oversight of two of our flagship shows – Saturday and Sunday Mornings – and drive audience growth for all weekend content across platforms. You will have a critical ear for high quality radio, a safe pair of hands with breaking news and be an effective people manager. This is a new role, ideal for an experienced radio manager who is future-focused and ready to lead change, in line with RNZ’s strategic goals and the Charter.

- Thrive under the pressure of handling breaking news
- Support and put into practice RNZ’s audience focused strategic goals
- Be comfortable with working weekends and agreed public holidays
- Establish and foster constructive and high trust professional relationships across the organisation
