Te Mahi – About the job
RNZ produces award-winning, world-class podcasts across a wide range of genres. We aim to connect with New Zealand by telling the stories of its people in ways that inform, entertain and resonate with our audiences.
We’re looking for an up-and-coming producer who is a talented storyteller, digitally savvy, exceptionally organised and has some experience in audio production. In this role, you’ll work across multiple podcasts. You’ll craft original, engaging stories and produce top-notch, audio-rich episodes in collaboration with producers, hosts, and teams across RNZ.
Ōu Pūkenga - About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have a tertiary qualification in Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Bring sound knowledge and experience in long-form storytelling and audio production.
- Show sound story judgement and demonstrated interviewing ability.
- Are proficient in editing, scriptwriting, guest wrangling, and making social content.
- Are a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
